Born on April 11, 1939, Buzzy Overbey grew up in Campbell County where his father and grandfather practiced law together at Overbey & Overbey.  Buzzy went to and graduated from Virginia Episcopal School in 1957.  Buzzy graduated from the University Of Virginia in 1961 and from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1964.  He started practicing law that year when he joined his father and grandfather at the law firm of Overbey & Overbey.  Over the years, Buzzy has handled virtually every type of case from real estate to litigation.  Buzzy spent many years in the general practice of law before retiring from Senior Partner and associating with Overbey, Hawkins & Wright Of Counsel.  Buzzy has been engaged in the general practice of law in Rustburg, Virginia since 1964.
